We believe the secret of our success in this business since 1973 is treating our customers like family by providing the highest quality of products at affordable costs, personal attention to clients, and continually learning more about the vast world of spirituality.  We keep an open mind to old ways and new methods alike so we can tell you what is best to use for quick results.  Our goal every time you contact us is to help you achieve the best life possible by sharing our knowledge and experience and by providing you with the tools to achieve your heart’s desires.

Allan Company began in 1973 by Richard Wilson and Lee Pavlik in a very old rented building on Dowling Street, in Houston, Texas.  The first day’s sales were $3 which they framed and which remain inside the store to this day.  In 1980, Richard and Lee purchased land and built a new, much larger, facility on McGowen Street in Houston.  In 1990, Lee retired, and Richard continued serving clients locally and by mail order nationally.  In 2008, Richard sold the McGowen property and retired.  The current business owner, Arlene Wilson, moved the business to its present location in the Houston Heights. 

Since then, much attention has been given to increasing product lines with serious attention to selection, quality, and availability.  We never stop looking, asking, or learning so we may pass it all to you, our valued customer.  All candles are created and manufactured on the premises.  All oils, baths, powders, salts, and perfumes are compounded on site as well.  You will not find our products elsewhere even though many are copied.

ARLENE WILSON, CURRENT OWNER

Arlene was married to Allan Company’s previous owner, Richard Wilson, for 30 years during which time she provided support from behind the scenes.  Her life-long interest in spiritual development and energy work has resulted in a heightened sense of empathy, insight of others, down-to-earth practicality, and strong knowledge of life and how things work.  She has a keen sense of right and wrong with the ability to see past the physical presence into the heart and soul of a person or an issue.  These abilities, coupled with a strong business background, have made Allan Company a powerful and reliable force in the lives of many today.
