Elegua is a messenger invoked to return lost love, drive away enemies and rivals, attract money, offer protection, and remove emptiness of the soul. He also opens and closes doors, and while he can be a trickster, he is the messenger between humans and Orishas. He is the god of crossroads, beginnings and endings. He is a great navigator in spiritual journeys and earthly travels.
