We believe the secret of our success in this business since 1973 is treating our customers like family by providing the highest quality of products at affordable costs, personal attention to clients, and continually learning more about the vast world of spirituality.  We keep an open mind to old ways and new methods alike so we can tell you what is best to use for quick results.  Our goal every time you contact us is to help you achieve the best life possible by sharing our knowledge and experience and by providing you with the tools to achieve your heart’s desires.

Allan Company began in 1973 by Richard Wilson and Lee Pavlik in a very old, rented building on Dowling Street, in Houston, Texas.  The first day’s sales were $3 which they framed and which remain inside the store to this day.  In 1980, Richard and Lee purchased land and built a new, much larger, facility on McGowen Street in Houston.  In 1990, Lee retired, and Richard continued serving clients locally and by mail order nationally.  In 2008, Richard sold the McGowen property, retired and transferred Allan Company to Arlene Wilson.  Arlene moved the business to 14th Street in the historic Houston Heights.  The store operated in the Heights location until 2026 when it moved once more to its current location on Ramus Street under the new owner of Allan Company, Carolyn.

Since then, much attention has been given to increasing product lines with serious attention to selection, quality, and availability.  We never stop looking, asking, or learning so we may pass it all to you, our valued customer.  All candles are created and manufactured on premises.  All oils, baths, powders, salts, and perfumes are compounded on site as well.  You will not find our products elsewhere even though many are copied.

Carolyn is the proud new owner of Allan Company.  With a strong background in leadership and business development, she brings fresh vision while honoring the company's long-standing tradition of quality and intention.  Carolyn is passionate about creating a welcoming space where community, craftsmanship, and purpose come together.
